“The President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.” These are the words used in the Authorization for Use of Military Force, which gave the United States legal authority to invade Afghanistan to remove the Taliban.

The President has the authority to use force against any nation who aided the terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attacks. Therefore, next stop: Saudi Arabia?

28 redacted pages, which bipartisan members of congress are fighting to be released, heavily implicates Saudi Arabian financial backing for the terrorists. Bob Graham, former Senator and who helped write the report, stated, “The 28 pages primarily relate to who financed 9/11 and they point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia as being the principal financier.”
